Thoughts on the world today.

I wonder, when I shake my fist at heaven and beg God to explain His allowance of mans' atrocities, if there was a moment in time, where, if one single person had stepped up and said "No, you will not do this!", if the course of history might have changed.  If just one of us were faithful to what we know to be true of each person's infinite value, would that make a difference? Would it not be a moment of abject pain, if when we see eternity and see what one voice might have done, and it was our own silent voice that huddled in cowardice which failed to speak that caused the dominos to fall.  When I feel hate to those perpetraters, is it my own complicity that makes me ashamed?

Your thoughts?

A Daddy's Heart

Listen and weep my friends.  This is one of the most powerful laments for the children lost to abortion that I have ever seen.  It is not about judgement.  It is about loss.  The what might have been.  The "who" might have been.  The tiny treasure that he or we will never know.  The incalculable loss because there was not enough love to go around at every step of the way and thus the tragic choice was made.  If we love more and give more and be the support for the mothers and fathers who think they have no other choice, perhaps there might be fewer empty swings.

Mercy and Grace and Hope and Love.  May we find and give more.

Thank you MightyTurkana for posting this on your site.
