I wonder, when I shake my fist at heaven and beg God to explain His allowance of mans' atrocities, if there was a moment in time, where, if one single person had stepped up and said "No, you will not do this!", if the course of history might have changed. If just one of us were faithful to what we know to be true of each person's infinite value, would that make a difference? Would it not be a moment of abject pain, if when we see eternity and see what one voice might have done, and it was our own silent voice that huddled in cowardice which failed to speak that caused the dominos to fall. When I feel hate to those perpetraters, is it my own complicity that makes me ashamed?
